Getting involved at church is such a big part in not only establishing roots but also in our Christian walk. "As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead." James 2:26. What this means in basic terms is Faith = Salvation = Works. When we give our lives to Christ we are supposed to give Him everything. We receive salvation when we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths but James is saying, "where is your proof". Your church also has a great need in all our ministries. Fall is here and winter is right around the corner, that means it's about to get really cold. Our Street Prayer Team is asking for donations of your old blanket's and coat's so they can take them to the homeless in our area.
